About Us
MealFinder.com.au is a free directory that helps people in Sydney find where to eat and where to order meals from. It brings restaurants, home kitchens, tiffin and meal-box services and meal delivery businesses together on one site, with the address, phone number, map link and Google rating for each.
What we do
Finding a good place to eat usually means jumping between maps, review sites and social pages. MealFinder.com.au puts the useful details in one place. You can browse by cuisine, by suburb, by dietary need such as vegetarian or healthy meals, or by type of service such as tiffin and meal-box delivery, and compare options side by side.
- Browse every provider with filters for suburb, cuisine, dietary option and service type.
- Read our guides, such as the “Best… in Sydney” lists for each cuisine, ranked by Google review count.
- List your kitchen or restaurant if you run a food business and want to be found.
How our rankings work
Our “Best… in Sydney” guides are ranked by Google review count, most-reviewed first. We use review count because it is a public, checkable figure that is hard to game, and we show each venue’s Google star rating alongside it so you can judge for yourself. Before a venue is published we check on Google that it is still open and operating. Ratings and review counts are taken from Google at the time we publish or update a listing, so they can drift from the live figure over time.
Every write-up is based on information we can point to: the venue’s Google listing, its own website and public reviews. When a rating is mixed, we say so. Price ranges shown on listings are estimates, not menu prices, and are labelled as such.
For food businesses
Listing on MealFinder.com.au is how customers find you when they search by suburb, cuisine or dietary need. Providers can create an account, manage their profile, opening hours, menu and photos, and receive customer requests. If you spot something wrong on your listing, or want it removed, please contact us and we will fix it.
Independence
MealFinder.com.au is an independent directory. A listing is not an endorsement, and appearing in a guide is not something a business can pay for. Where we link to a venue’s website, phone number or map location, we do so to help you reach them directly.
